Rugby London Tweed Run: What We’ll Be Wearing

The Tweed Run, ‘A Metropolitan bicycle run, with a bit of style’ comes to London once more on Saturday 26th November. This time it is The Rugby London Tweed Run, sponsored by Rugby Ralph Lauren. If you aren’t aware of Rugby, you should be. It brings together Ralph Lauren’s heritage style with a wearable ‘streetwise twist’. The new store is opening in Covent Garden this week.

First launched in 2004, Rugby translates Ralph Lauren’s legacy of authentic prep into an eclectic, irreverent collection for young men and women. Cool and rebellious, vintage varsity and heritage classics are reinvented with a chic downtown flair and playful, sexy vibe for an individualist approach to personal style. Iconic logos, vintage patches and spirited crests give Rugby a bold, one-of-a-kind edge.

The Vintage Mafia couldn’t be more excited about this upcoming Autumn run, as we will be riding……dressed in outfits from Rugby! We are so proud to have the opportunity to be ambassadors for this brand on what is set to be an amazing day. Rugby’s Tweed Run collection is utterly gorgeous, described as ‘Eclectic layers of heritage tweed, shetland and corduroy, along with limited edition accessories, capture the spirit of the Tweed Run cycling event’. What’s more we will all be riding splendid Pashley cycles. Yippee!

So we can’t be sure that there will be sunshine, or even that one of us won’t fall of our bikes…but we can be certain that our outfits will be perfect and our bikes beautiful!
